I dig good quotes, they're inspiring and make you want to kick butt with your life. Might as well get started with a good one:

I love quotes too Brian and everybody...they tell me that other people have gone through the same experiences we do. Memorizing them helps me to crystallize my thoughts about the different situations/issues I come across in life.

Are we allowed movie quotes here too? I don't mean to sound corny, sarcastic or belittle the meaning of this post *at all* but c'mon... there's warrior movies that, amongst all the fodder, have made us grit our teeth and reminded us of the spirit and codes we live by...

such as Gladiator - Maximus: "I knew a man once who said, "Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back." "
Proximo: "In the end, we're all dead men. Sadly, we cannot choose how, or when. But what we can choose is how we decide to meet that end, so we are remembered forever as men."

or The Thirteenth Warrior - "Merciful Father, I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment, I beg only to live the next few minutes well. For all we ought to have thought, and have not thought; all we ought to have said, and have not said; all we ought to have done, and have not done; I pray thee God for forgiveness."

I like these, even if written in screenplay and acted by actors. They remind me of being tested and being in the arena
