| Hey guys. A little back ground first. I used to carry a Kimber Ultra Carry III in a Fist Kydex High ride holster. The holster failed and Fist told me to buy another. They say their holsters break on occassion and it didn't shock them that this particular holster lasted only about 8 months. Needless to say, I will not buy another Fist product, ever!!! I've seen tons of positive feedback on the hoffner product and think I'm hooked. Now to the real question. Which Hoffner holster has the highest ride. Thanks in advance... |

Hello Biketrix welcome to the forum. My Hybrid Ultimate Shirt Tucker in not just comfortable and concealable it has seven height adjustments and fourteen angle adjustments. If you want a high ride, concealable belt Holster than Hoffners Hybrid Warrior is the answer. This is not only great function but the form... it should be on the wall at the Museum of Fine Art

Hoff, Thanks again for the quick response. What would be the wait time for this holster for the Kimber Ultra Carry 3 inch, 40 cal.? And could it be made in all black?

The Hybrid Warrior is my baby and I make it myself. I knocked out all my work monday in preparation for all the training that I am in the middle of right now, therefore I wont be back in for three weeks. Normally I have it to you in 1 to 2 weeks.
It's available in brown/black or black on black.

Wow, Nice Pic of the Hybrid Warrior. I am very proud of this hoster, no one else in the world builds anything like it. In my opinion it belongs in one of two places; 1- On the wall in the Fine Arts Museum. 2- On the hip of the able and ready warrior.

Every 1911 owner should have a Hybrid Warrior Holster in their arsenal. The Hybrid Hoff handcrafted is my every day carry holster...too bad it has to remain 'concealed'.
Hoff - Please craft one more two-tone Hybrid with light tan/red color leather to offset the black. Right hand shooter, full size 1911 as before please.
For forum Warriors who are not familiar with the Warrior Hybrid Holster, it has high quality leather outer structure with a Kydex front edge and inner structure...well designed and structurally tough.
The Hybrid Warrior sits fairly high and remains snugly in place...perfect when entering/exiting vehicles several times per day. The Hybrid Warrior is, in my opinion, your signature piece Hoff. |

Glad you like it Semper Fi. You can't get a better looking, better crafted holster anywhere on the planet. Because of the work involved the Hybrid Warrior is going up in price for 2008 so Your timing is perfect.
I will fix you up with a two tone Hybrid warrior.

Hoff, I see you're back on the forum. Are you back in to making holsters? I was hoping to get in line for a holster since I started this particular thread. I didn't see my specific weapon in the list of choices on your web site. Please let me know what I need to do to get the process started.
