Like to know if any of the crew here is.

Favorite flavor? Think the new change from Sigarms to Sig Sauer USA will make a difference?

It's hard not to be a Sig fan when one of my very good friends is Bank Miller, former director of Sig Academy and now director of Action Target Academy where I do alot of teaching. Bank still carries the Sig in all sizes. I have always liked the 220/226 frame myself, though it is a larger frame it fits my hand better then the 229 which has a fatter grip.

I really like Bank. I have had the luxury of attending some things with him over the years at the various WSLEFIA conferences. He shoots his SIG like glass, especially for his excellent one hole drills.

"Yes".... I am a serious Sig fan, and also a fan of Bank Miller.

I currently own 5 Sig pistols and just purchased a Sig 556 rifle.

I had alot of fun with Bank at this years Action Target LETC, as did my partners from work. We are issued the Sig P220 and all of us shoot them well.

My current "favorite" Sig pistol is my first generation stainless steel GSR 1911. It is the most accurate, smoothest shooting factory 1911 that I have ever owned. I installed an Ed Brown mainspring housing and mag well, and use only Wilson magazines in it. I have never had it fail to feed, fire or eject.

The Sig pistol I have the most time on is my P220, as I have carried it as a duty pistol between two different departments for a total of about 10 years or so. As long as you keep them lubed and have good magazines, a better shooting, more accurate DA pistol is hard to find.

My wife's personal defense gun is a Sig P225 9mm, and she shoots it very well, even with her small hands.

As far as the name change goes.... I don't think it will have a big effect one way or the other. Most people recognize the guns and have always just referred to them as "Sig's" anyway, whether the company making them was called "Sig Sauer", "Sigarms", or anything else.

Quite an impressive list of Sigs. The Sig 556 is a nice rifle, I would like to have one.

They sure are nice looking and well put together.

Nothing bad to say about Sigs, the trigger just doesn't work for me.

Bank had me try (as did other vendors) the new short reset trigger, but it still isn't something I'm used to.

The Sig 1911 sure impressed me though, and I'd carry one of those any day!

If you get the chance, jump on one of the Sig GSR 1911's. I have one that is first generation and it is the best "out of the box" 1911 I have ever owned..... (And I have to take my boots off to count how many 1911's I've had over the years!)

I have several Kimbers also... You won't go wrong there either, but the tolerances and accuracy of my GSR make it stand out among my 1911's.

For daily concealed carry I carry my Kimber Ultra CDP most often.

I love my Sig. I carry a P239, 9mm. It is still my favorite, out of all of the other guns I have shot.

I have a lot of respect for the Sig pistols. But, no matter what you call the parent company I wish they were more accomodating to their customers. Showing some enthusiasm for the shooting sports might help.
