Anyone else following the development of this interesting looking tactical rifle system?

Good post jairb.

Magpul's founder, Richard Fitzpatrick, has developed the Masada into a unique 5.56 weapon that is starting to become known in the field.

The Magpul gas operating system is excellent, I've fired a 20" Masada prototype which has good balance and is rifled for heavy 5.56 rounds. Magpul looks to have the Masada on the market in mid-2008.

Magpul is owned and operated by former Spec Ops troops and they work directly with military units including the IDF to develop systems and gear front line troops need and want.

Magpul will continue to grow and produce no nonsense weapons and gear.

The featured weapon for the 2008 Guns & Ammo Annual Buyers Guide, with cover photo, is the Magpul Masada.
The piston operated Masada is a convertible platform (5.56, 6.5 and 7.62 x 39) and it's great that Magpul is getting the national publicity they deserve. www.gunsandammomag.com and www.magpul.com

I heard Bushmaster will be selling it at some point without the apparently religiously non-pc but glorious name...does anyone know when this will happen?
