Yesterday's 2 - 200 yard and low light pistol training with Phil Oxley at Impact Zone was outstanding and skills learned will further hone Hoffner Elite and IDPA skills.
Relearning and practicing the 'natural body set' technique underscored the advantages of "training with the pros" while standing rigidly upright with a straight arm position proved crucial to getting consistent hits at 100 yards and beyond.
I was proud of our shooters who were getting hits at 150 and 200 yards with their 4" barreled 9mm Glocks.
Learning to clear an area with various weapon/flashlight techniques ... very useful;
Learning to set the mind and body for the long shot ... outstanding;
Getting solid hits at 200 yards with a pistol ... priceless!
