Anyone got any suggestions for the type of ammunition to bring to the TAC shotgun course? 400 rounds of ???? shot, and 25 rounds of ????? slugs. I now have my 12ga Remington 870 Riot (smooth bore). Also, where's a good place to buy 12 ga ammo?

Gotta give Ezekiel credit, the wasp pic is funny and he does know his weapons.

For 'pump' 12 gauge training, consider a 2-3/4" Light Target Load, around 1,250 fps velocity, loaded with #7 or #8 shot.

Not certain which slugs Hoff or Ezekiel suggest...

We fired about 500-600 rounds during Tactical Shotgun I class which was excellent training and attended by highly motivated Warriors!

Just pick up a case or two of Winchester AA super sporting clay #8
They have it at Academy

The steel doesn't care what you use
