I bet the person that makes the decision on if the plane remains on the ground is so far removed from the customers that isn't even funny. They should have to listen & respond to their grievences.

There should be a Federal law that stops abuse of customers like this. Something very general, like if the plane is on the ground for 2 hrs, something happens;ie.. taxi back, free return flight, water available, fresh air, & some way to use the restroom.
