| Would anyone be interested in developing some practice courses of fire based on scenarios. It would be great to meet at Impact Zone with some ideas and work them out. I realize you can't really practice judgement calls such as shoot don't shoot but it could answer some questions. |

| That's a good idea Liam. I am interested. Are you talking about scenarios from the newspaper, NRA, or armed BG scenario's where it could have gone to guns? |

The purpose of the scenario is to create a context to practice a given set of tactical skills. So, any scenario brought to the table real or imagined will work as long as you understand how it applies to your ability and to your equipment.
For range purposes you have to be able to recreate it in a staged setting. First step is to get it diagramed on paper. Keep in mind range safety such as all shots into the berm only. Is it score able in terms of recording elapsed time and/or accuracy (hits on a graded target). Can you do that with the given event? |
