I had the honor of delivering the keynote presentation to 500 LE Instructors from around the world. My powerpoint presentation "Code of the Warrior" was focused, passionate and motivating. I asked the instructors to sponge the week of training and dedicate themselves to preparing our LEO's for the new future of policing. Not only are we at war against crime, and gangland activity, we are at war against the impending Jihad. We, Law Enforcement officers, are the front line on our soil and we must prpare accordingly. The world is becoming more violent and our training must be violent to win the fight.

My presentation included the new evolution of mindset such as Hoffners "Cycle of Reaction" to better understand the nuerological bio mechanics of winning and how our training programs fit the process. Understanding Hoffners "SAT (Sights and Trigger) Scale" ensures that we apply the proper trigger press and sight alignment to the situation.

The "Code of the Warrior" is for warriors, those who walk the walk. A code to fight by, a code to live by.
Fighting by the code provides the warrior with the greatest ability to conquer.
Living by the code provides the greatest respect and assures a life that is full and complete.
A warrior’s code is very much the content of his character.
Those of you who were there, I thank you for your enthusiastic support. For two hours I hardly a person left their seat. Your dedication to your field is appreciated by many and certainly by me. With 30 years in law enforcement I feel like I am just getting started. We have much work to do, so lets train hard, motivate our officers, and kick some tail on the range and in our lives. Live and fight the Code of the Warrior...

My range class was SoSu Warrior, Hands, Knife, and Pistol. This is a practical modern day mixed martial art that is based on our firearms principles of keep it simple, reduced options, and techniques that actually work. I introduced my classes to basic but powerful techniques with empty hands such as wedge blocks, palm heel, elbow, and knee strikes (Crushing blows). The classes learned how incredible easy and effective Hoffners Knife techniques are as a defense method even when combined with the use of the pistol. With our pistols we learned how to shave off tenths of a seconds with SoSu Presentation and get the hit before the bad guy hits you and then FINISH the FIGHT actively through the fight cycle.
