| Other than the speed of the first shot isn't the time between shots on a single target not as crucial as fast splits with a handgun. Also, how many of us civilians can expect there to be a lull in a gun fight during which the gun can be topped off. Isn't a civilian self defense situation more likely to be one set of volley and not a prolonged battle? |

The gunfights ends when second sight is over, but second sight bis for the fight that you just pressed the trigger for, now its time to scan for the next fight, which may be only seconds away, therefore; as you actively scan, also feed the beast, I.E. Tactical load.
