While hiking along an Inca Trail in the mountains of the Sacred Valley in Peru, we found and ancient Inca Club-head. The club-head was broken in half, perhaps on the head of one of Pizaro's Conquistadors, but ever the less was fascinating. The Inca did not use metalcraft in their warrior arsonal, wood and stone were the media of choice. Most stone club-heads had a hole carved through the center of the stone for the shaft of the club.
We preserved history by burying the found club-head deep into the mountain where it would not be found for another 500 years. |

| Nice pic ! It's amazing what they accomplished without using metal technology. IIRC they didn't have the wheel either. |
