| We practice tatical and combat reloads thousands of times. I know how to do each of them very well, but have never had to do them in actual combat where their significance can be realized until last night playing the Resident Evil WII game. The undead require many shots and with limited pistol capacity, I quickly realized how valuable a tactical reload really is. When the fighting begins and there are zombies trying to slay me, it really stinks to have an empty gun. |

Good point Dog. Training prepares our minds and bodies for the fight as we will indeed fight as we train.
Central to Hoffners training is pistol, rifle and shotgun 'tactical and combat reloading'. Hoff, John Crawford and others have stated that pistol reloading can be performed in less than 3.0 seconds once you've practiced these timed movements a few thousand times. They are right and our times at Elite show how quickly, smoothly and 'automatically' tactical and combat reloads can be performed. |
