I have had my shoe dryer for years and it runs pretty much 24/7. I place what ever shoes I have just worn on it from dress shoes to gym shoes. When I go to the lease I take it along and dry my hunting boots over night. Even after a cold wet day in the field my boots are warm and dry the next day.
The manufacturer claims that the gizmo only costs pennies a day to run. Shoes are dried by warm air and not direct heat so even Gore-Tex and fine leather shoes are safe. I have left a single pair of shoes on the drying rack for as long as week without any damage.
They also make an extension that will allow you to dry waders over night.
This is a great device that works like it is supposed to, doesn’t cost that much and it lasts a long time. |
