Sights on Slack up, Trigger Control, Sight Alignment and proper stance don't mean JACK! If you’re going to stand still out in the open, that is.......
One group of warriors found that out this weekend at Tactical Pistol II training out at Impact Zone. “DRINK WATER” was the common theme under the Texas sun as these troopers perfected dynamic shooting and use of cover. These guys were awesome; nothing stopped them from getting the hits. Not the heat, the ants, sweat or their soft delicate knees. They left targets with a big hole in them, brass and blood on the range and they deserve a huge “Insert motivating noise here”
Don’t stop now, Keep training for the fight!
See you at the next Hoffner’s Training Academy course.

I have posted more pictures at the link above. Nothing better than boot marks on a freshly cleaned gun or going prone on top of blistering hot brass and still getting the hits.

Great job guys! Good instruction and good learning. It's goos to know that while I was off training the San Antonio Police Departmant quality training was still going on in H Town with Hoffners Training Academy, Art is one of my talented instructors of Hoffners Corps of Tactical Instructors. Now that you have completed Tactical Pistol II you are eligable to attend the Instructor level Class this year. Keep up the good work all.
Keep training, see yopu in the next class,
Hoff

This training was awesome!
Thanks to Art - only all necessary talk on the range, and good company at the lunchtime.
KuhnDog - my respects, you're a real shooting beast Cool , and the photos are really cool!

Guys, I'm going to remember it for very long time, as
1) I know now how to handle pistol, it is already in my hands, arms, body and legs.
2) Back in Russia we're not allowed to carry pistols.

So, many thanks for you all being there.
And special thanks to Art for the Glock (hope it is alright now).

Yeah, "hydrate yourself" was a useful topic too.
Hope to see you once again at the range.
