I had a police officer attempt his annual qualification recently. His Glock 22 continuously failed to feed. I took his gun apart and instantly noticed a shiny guide rod...thats not stock. He had put in a Wolf spring and guide rod. I graciously pulled my stock guide rod and spring out of my Glock, stuck it his and his gun ran flawlessly. My advice "if it aint broke, don't fix it...and keep the aftermarket sh%#t out of your gun!" If you insist on making changes to to gun then at least test a minimum of 2 boxes through it.
Good equipment, well maintained, combined with skill and mindset will kick butt in the fight,

Hoff you are right on the money.this holds especially true with Glocks. They are very tempermental when it comes to after market parts.I have sold customers many a Glock and one of my first recomendations is a Glock likes Glock parts, they will seldom give you a problem if you stick with the program. |

Holy Glock! I have one of those in my wife's Glock. So far no probs, but I shall test it out. Good to hear. I had bought the G-19 from a friend/dealer and it came with a sort of shock absorber guide rod the previous owner added, and I put in a one piece SS rod...
thanks for pointing out these things, it might save one of our butts! |

just put a bunch of carry ammo through it but have her do it. her grip and hold is most likely differant than yours and she is the one counting on it. Thats the key, if it will work for her than it will work for you.
