I have done several steps to accurize my WASR10, here is what I have thus far done:
A. I went to walmart and in its toy department, I purchsed two bottles of .'Testor'. brand flourescent paint; one was light orange and the was neon green. I also got some Q-tips at Walmart's drug aisle.
**************NOTE**************
If you have poor motor skills, you should put your rifle in a vise; prior to doing .'B'.
B. Dip a Q-tip's end into the neon green .'Testor'. paint, blot the excess onto an old newspaper; paint only the front sight and let dry for one hour.
C. Go to One Source Tactical.com and buy a Krebs ladder ghost ring sight; it is replacement sight for the AK's original ladder sight.
D. Dip a fresh Q-tip into the orange '.Testor'. brand paint, blot the excess
onto an old newspaper; paint the end-facing-you half circle and the line underneath it. Color contrast makes it work..
I intend to put both a flash and stock extention on my WASR10, in the near future; I'll post here when I do do. |
