Going to purchase slings for the entire dept. AR platform patrol rifles.

Looking for a sling that MOST everyone can use easily, as we all know not everyone practices with their firearms and related equipment.

Whatcha all think?

For long distance patrols and CQB, the Viking Tactics 2 point sling remains a preferred sling with the troops and private contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hoff introduced us to the Northeast Tactical 'Single Point Elastic Cord Sling' and it's excellent for CQB work.

Been using the same single point that Hoff uses, but am thinking of the 2 point for the troops.

Was looking at the VTAC sling.

What about the Vickers VCAS? Any thought on it?

Larry Vickers' VCAS 2 point sling and the Viking Tactics (VTAC) 2 point sling are similar in design and function though Larry's materials and hardware are a bit more stout. Both slings are top quality.

I place Larry Vickers' and Viking Tactics gear up there with Brian Hoffners' and Mark LaRue's gear...highest quality gear that is designed, tested and manufactured for Operators by Operators...
