I think the best way to augment training is to compete in USPSA/IPSC/IDPA competition. It builds familiarity with equipment and fast handling skills. There is going to be a shotgun match in San Antonio on Sunday the 29th, (see rivercityshooters.com), but I like to get out to a place like Impact Zone and see how fast I can shoot and reload. Anyone up for it?
