The PC (Philippine Constabalary) always getting their butts shot off by the NPA (New Peoples Army) Communist guerillas.
My Dorm Roomate Frank McKinney "Thought he was a hero"
Me infront of a found WWII Japanese Cave Behind 1400 Row.

I never hesitate to express my opinion
Dave Donoghue and myself
Atop a 706 with DOD Gyards. Most of these Pillipino Nationals were US Army and fought against the Japanese during WWII
Terry Koy, Myself, Rock Lopez

"Champ" 4B03 anxiously awaits for the Hoff to take to the jungle on patrol
Elephant grass was as tall as its namesake

Imbergio always said he would become a Penn State Trooper
Terry Knoy with Hondo, he was a beautiful dog
Me with Champ. He had a torn up ear as the result of a good fight...he won of course.
I can't remeber the name of Imbergio's dog
The NPA was suppossed to attack and I got stuck in a tower for 12 hours, so I did some artwork
Notice the perimeter fence is gone. They would steal it as soon as it was put up
A Japanese Cave beneath the Bomb Dump. I lit it for the photo with a Day/Night Flare
The layout of this particular cave. We spent alot of time Cave Hunting as the Japs had them everywhere
Driving the 706 APC
a Jolly Green leaving me behind to guard a downed chopper
Going out on a daytime raid incognito. Notice the GAU-5. It is much like the current M4 but has a huge suppressor. K9 was the first to deploy with the Machine Gun. We carried it with a loose 2 Point sling so we could carry it accross the chest, a methos I used for 25 years until I recently went to the single point.
It was a special time with with a great bunch of guys...it was the golden age of K9 |
