Georgia Arms and Ammunition georgia-arms.com is a great source for bulk ammo. Been in business for years and do a good job of commercial reloading.
Black Hills new manufacture is my top choice for matches, however. |

Best place for ammo searches is http://www.gun-deals.com. They have it sorted by caliber and broken out by total cost, cost per round and cost per round including shipping.
Also http://www.ar15.com board under the ammo section. |

Thought I would pass on the info. to you all....
Talked with my contact at ATK this last Tuesday, Ernest Durham. He is a design engineer for Federal-Speer Ammo, and was part of the team that designed the HST round.
I was at the academy teaching this last week, and he showed up. Myself, the firearms program manager, the master instructor coordinator, and the lead firearms instructor talked with Durham, as Speer supplies the academy with its ammo.
Our range is getting a new trap installed, and will be switching exclusively to frangible ammo. But one of the subjects we discussed was about the availability of ammo and reloading components.
He said everything is going out the door as fast as they are making the ammo and components. There is much hoarding going on. Gun shops and suppliers are ordering huge quantities that have already been bought by customers. As soon as a pallet of ammo shows up at a shop, it's sold on the spot.
So in other words, they are just filling orders of ammo and components to suppliers, in which have already been sold.
The Military and LE types get first shot at anything they need, and the rest goes to the public. Problem is, it's mostly getting sold before it even sees a retail shelf.
Also talked with Hogdon Powder Co. They have powder if you want it in plastic bags. Seems their supplier who makes the containers can't keep up.
So if you need anything, you'll have to pre-order it and wait for its arrival.
Be well all.... |

| I've shot about 10K rounds of Wolf with no problems. A couple of weeks ago at the range the targets were splattered with tumbling bullet shots. I did a test today and discovered it was do to a bad patch of poly-coated Wolf 55G. I ran several different types of bullets through the rifle with no problems even some of the original Wolf without the polycoat. |
