Hoffners Training Academy is all about winning the fight and is one of the top programs in the nation because we are the most practical fighting academy in the nation.
Every time we train in Victoria we have a great group. Most of this class showed uo to the class with very little to no skill. By the end of the class they were in the top percentage of the world for accuracy, they were the safest operators in the world because that is what I insist on, and they got it done extremely well through the fight cycle static, moving, and with alternative positions.
We had a great time with low light training and learning how to clear a building with flashlight in hand using the proper techniques to get it done right.
We practiced quick lateral movement to the attakers weak side and found how easy it was to win the CQB fight using this great defense that Hoffner teaches accross the nation.

Course was very well organized and presented a tremendous amount of information in a short amount of time. Good handouts to help emphasize major points which may have been missed. Good handout for homework to continue to build on the foundation established during the course. Brian is a very patient and experienced instructor and it was evident in the way he corrected my errors without making me feel stupid. Brian was backed up with experienced additional instructors who reinforced his teaching and were able to give some individual attention to each student. Overall it was an extremely rewarding three days and well worth the cost in time and $. It was also held at one of the best ranges I have seen, courtesy of Dr. Tobin.

Hoffner (and all of his instructors) are great to work with. They are knowledgeable AND fun! They have so much to share and teach, I wanted another day of class! All of them drove us toward confidence in our skills and weapons. We learned to adjust to various situations that would increase our chances of coming out of a fight alive! Shooting in the low light conditions was an enlightening (no pun intended) experience! The building-clearing was a completely new skill for me. My son and I have a new way to play Hide & Go Seek! The opportunity to be in unfamiliar territory and to absorb more knowledge is what I look to these people to provide for me. Brian is a great instructor on so many levels. He makes one WANT to learn. His energy is endless and his goal is always making his students safer and wiser! Not only are Daryl, Dennis, and Walton exceptional instructors, but they are also great people. They are fun to be around and never have a bad attitude.... not even at 5 am!!!! They helped each and everyone of us improve our skills and tweak our confidence! I can not tell you thank you enough for such a great class. I look forward to taking more classes with Brian and his instructors! Cool
