A few months ago this guy I know dropped his pants and showed me his gun. What I meant to say is that he showed me his Rohrbaugh 9mm beautifully concealed behind the waistband of his dress pants with his shirt tucked.

I have now been carrying the same weapon for more than 90 days. http://www.rohrbaughfirearms.com/
I have shot it only twice. I am amazed by the accuracy, and spoiled by the size and weight. My wife has demanded one to replace her titanium .38 S&W. It arrives this week.

I have been carrying this piece of art in a soft-cloth IWB Uncle Mike's Sidekick holster at 4:00 with an untucked shirt, and occasionally in the same holster stuffed in my front pocket. Yes, it is the proverbial $1000 gun with a $10 holster...ok $7.48 holster. The spare mag is loose in my left front pants pocket.

I believe that the main spring should be replaced frequently, something like every 250 rounds. Assuming I do this, I wonder if can I train with this gun other than dry fire? I would love to have a .22 conversion for training.

Anyone else here have any ideas or comments about training solutions for an ultra light pistol like this one?

Good review of the R-9 and there are many R-9 carriers on this forum.

Excellent quality, carry weight, 9mm power and concealabilility for men and women.

Mag-Safe does not seem to make 9mm ammo, but I would love to have something similiar. Any ideas of 9mm pre-frag that is not + or ++ for the R9?

This thing really is the noisy cricket from MIB.

Does anyone in the Houston area carry the Rohrbaugh product line?

Just read the American Rifleman article on compact .380's. The Rohrbaugh was the best rated model with 0 failures during a 100 rd initial test. But man those things are expensive! $1100 suggested retail?

It needs to be well made because it gets so much use/abuse. Plus, that is the total cost, as no upgrades, optic, etc. are required.

Go with the R-9 9mm.

Still carrying my Rohrbaugh R9 highly concealed in my Hoffners ITP (in the pants holster). In this hot, humid, summer weather its nice to be able to dress light but still carry a 9mm in an incredibly small and light package.
