I'd like you all to meet and greet Hoffners Gunfighter Forum's first registered female, Cajun1... also known as Tammy, or the C.O. of the upper decks of Suite A, if you local warriors know what I mean. She's new to the warrior concept with very little training and no experience, but embraces it fully and is raring to get in the arena and learn. As soon as she's off this training program her new job has her on, we will begin her training/transition into a Hoffners warrior-ette. Actually, it has already begun, with her first SOSU session and an impromptu introduction to my old duty Glock 22, some clear-and-safe drills, as well as some dry fire drills. Not wanting to overwhelm her with information, as soon as she's done with job-related testing and certifications, you all can plan on seeing much more of her at the range when schedules allow, catching up and getting up to speed. She's just the addition to Team SpecRat that has long been awaited and when she's caught up, we're going to be one helluva fast-acting, efficient, high-speed, low-drag, couple/team unlike most are used to.
Don't let her disarming, fun-loving smile fool you... there's a warrior in there yet untapped. So, please introduce yourselves when you see her, welcome her and shake her hand because, well... she does put up with me. Laughing

Women are attacked more then men are and need to train. Women have the same right to life as men and have the right to defend themselves. They just need the training and weve got it at Hoffners Training Academy. Along with ability we teach them to be more confident, self assured, and successful. I am proud of the women warriors that we are making, but I want more women to enjoy the same results. Hooyah to the ladies, get in here and train. It will change your life!

I always knew it was important for us women to train...just never had time...and with 3 kids...the youngest being autistic and the middle with aspergers...I just had NO time...and since I homeschool all three as well...I couldn't fit a single thing more into our already hectic schedule. Confused

So I continued to tell my husband "I know, I really want to, and I will. Just not right now."

He even bought me a knife...but I didn't want to carry it on my person all the time, because I didn't know Anything about using it, and I was uncomfortable carrying if I didn't know how to use it. Sure, I went to the range about once every 6 - 8 months (that's all the time I had). But a full day of class...huh...who would watch my kids for that long? Rolling Eyes

Then one day my husband stepped up to the plate. He arranged for babysitting and told me we were going to a training class. Didn't ask me...told me! Said he already pd for it, so there was no talking about it. I was very hesitant and worried about my babies (then 4, 5, & 6), and a little nervous about shooting as well. But I went. Confused

I have to tell you I had a really good experience. Brian Hoffner of Hoffner's Training Academy was such an excellent instructor! He didn't make me feel dumb or anything! He was very patient, and I learned a lot! And...my kids were fine. (The babysitter probably needed therapy after being with my kids all day, but other than that...) Very Happy

Now...well, I am hooked!!! I love training with Brian & Cecil. My husband & I attend as many classes as we can (babysitters & finances permitting, of course), and we love it! Laughing

Sometimes we women don't mean to make excuses...but subconsciously are a little hesitant (like I was), and so we do. Our hearts & brains are in the right place...just not our bodies. Razz

Men, I dare you all to do whatever it takes, to get your wives to Hoffner's Academy. The awesome instructors there will do the rest. And I believe the reason the Hoffners team is So good is they all care about making you an even better you. So what are you waiting for? Get to work, warrior! Cool
