In the strings below we talk about training and preparation. I know that a number of forum mates are really out there putting it on the line. But, in regards to 'How do you practice' I would like to submit that every plan works until you meet the enemy and getting out and competing in organized competition fills an important gap in training. That is, (drum roll please, uh---louder), PERFORMANCE ON DEMAND.
I suggest that everyone get out and periodically take part in a competition. Yes, not everyone likes to get up in front of strangers, (or even their friends), and perform all alone. But this is the safest, (cheapest compared to training course), most fun way to find out if your equipment works, if you ability to focus on demand works, if your tactics work... Mix in a match, compare notes, learn, enjoy. Have a great Labor Day.
