The Stanley Works www.stanleyworks.com manufacturers a tool trademarked as the Functional Utility Bar (FUBAR) and recently re-labeled the FUBAR as the FatMax (Stanley part number 55-119).
Brian Hoffner showed me this 3-4 lb. entry tool this week and I believe it is worth evaluating as a basic rescue/entry tool.
Today's price at WalMart for the FatMax is $29.88 and I'll bring one to next week's American Defenders to pass around.
Hoff...perhaps Robert can post a photo of the FUBAR and please keep your FUBAR label for grins. |

This is a really cool tool made for buildres that works well as a Tactical entry tool. Its light enough and small enough to carry with you gear and big enough to get the job done. After a little more T&E it will probably be standard equipment for Team Hoffners. The fact that Stanley Tools calls it the FUBAR is cooooool.
