Hoff,
While running through AR-15 CQB drills yesterday using a red dot/3x magnifier combination, the operators I worked with ran CQB drills with both eyes open though they were acquiring (3 - 12 yard) targets through red dots and 3x magnifiers as well.
Their 12 yard A, B and C zone accuracy was very high so it seems that the 'both eyes open' technique does not take much away from mid-range accuracy. Very impressive...would hate to be the bad guy.
What is the Hoffner rifle and pistol CQB aiming technique, and, is 12 yards generally considered the maximum CQB distance? |
